PERSONAL PROFILE

I'm Jeff Smith, Broker/Owner of Anchor Realty & Auction, Inc.  I am 62 years young, have been married to my wife, Connie, for 41 years, have two children and 6 grandchildren.  We have resided on Crooked Lake in Angola, Indiana for the past 20 years.  My hobbies are spending time with my wife, children, and grandchildren, selling real estate, building businesses, and traveling, especially to Gulf Shores, Alabama, where we enjoy buying, furnishing and decorating condominiums, in other words ,we enjoy working!  Prior to my real estate career, I owned clothing stores and department stores here in Indiana.

   1991   Received my Real Estate license

   1994   I became the #1 agent in the Northeast Indiana Association of Realtors,

             a position I have held for over 14 years

   2001   Was the #1 RE/MAX agent in Indiana and #79 in the USA

   2002   Opened Anchor Realty
 
   2002 - Present-  Broker/ Owner of Anchror Realty & Auction.  We have eight full time   
                agents.  

  My Goal

Today's real estate market is fast paced and ever changing.  My goal is to make the process, whether buying or selling,  a smooth transaction.  Attention to detail is one  of my stong suits.  Understanding  the current market in combination with 21 years of experience, local knowlege, and real estate law has given me a solid base that I use to help my clients achieve their goals. 

    MY TEAM

I have one full time Administrative Assistant, Christine Reiniche.  Christine is a Licensed Realtor who brings with her 16 years of real estate and marketing  experience.   She has been on my team for the past 8 years.   Her duties include working daily with sellers on the marketing, listing, and closing escrow of properties.
