I?m Jeff Smith, Broker/Owner of Anchor Realty & Auction, Inc.  I am 59 years young, have been married to my wife, Connie, for 39 years, have two children and 6 grandchildren.  We have resided on Crooked Lake in Angola, Indiana for the past 20 years.  My hobbies are spending time with my wife, children, and grandchildren, selling real estate, building businesses, and traveling, especially to Gulf Shores, Alabama, where we enjoy buying, furnishing and decorating condominiums?in other words?we enjoy working!  Prior to my real estate career, I owned clothing stores and department stores here in Indiana.

   1991   Received my Real Estate license

   1994   I became the #1 agent in the Northeast Indiana Association of Realtors,

             a position I have held ever since

   2001   Was the #1 RE/MAX agent in Indiana and #79 in the USA

   2002   I started Anchor Realty

   2005   Anchor Realty was the #1 agency in the area with a 28% market share

   2005   My individual real estate sales were $31 million, while the #2 agent in  
             our  MLS sold $12 million

   2006   Anchor Realty, now with two locations, has 12 full time Agents

   2006    #1 Agent  in Northeast Indiana in total sales.

   2007    #1 Agent  in Northeast Indiana in total sales.

   2008    #1 Agent in Northeast Indian in total sales

I have one full time Administrative Assistant, Christine Reiniche.  Christine is a Licensed Realtor who brings with her 11 years of real estate & marketing  experience.   She has been with me on my team for the past 5 years.   Her duties include working daily with sellers on the marketing, listing, and closing escrow of properties.
